Alcohol Base Fused Zircon Refractory Coating

DESCRIPTION:  ZIRLITE 465 is an alcohol base, fused zircon refractory coating.  This coating has a high percentage of a stable zircon content. ZIRLITE 465 has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. ZIRLITE 465 can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

ZIRLITE 465 should be mixed thoroughly before use.  We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer.  ZIRLITE 465 is shipped as a heavy slurry. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the ZIRLITE 465 with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%).  Caution:  Solvent is highly flammable.
