 ALCOHOL BASED COATINGS: ZIRLITE 450
Alcohol Base Zircon/Alumina/Red Iron Oxide Coating

DESCRIPTION:  ZIRLITE 450 is an alcohol base zircon/alumina/red iron oxide coating.  ZIRLITE 450 has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. ZIRLITE 450 can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

ZIRLITE 450 should be mixed thoroughly before use.  We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer.  ZIRLITE 450 is shipped as a heavy slurry. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the ZIRLITE 450 with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%).  Caution:  Solvent is highly flammable.
