Alcohol Base Zircon Modified Refractory Coating

DESCRIPTION:  ZIRLITE 417R is an alcohol based, zircon modified refractory coating.  ZIRLITE 417R has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burn on defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. ZIRLITE 417R can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

ZIRLITE 417R should be mixed thoroughly before use.  We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer.  ZIRLITE 417R is shipped as a heavy slurry produced to approximately 74° - 78° Baume´.  If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the ZIRLITE 417R with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%).  Caution:  Solvent is highly flammable.
