DESCRIPTION: ZIRLITE 417G is an alcohol based, zircon/graphite refractory coating. ZIRLITE 417G has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burn on defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. ZIRLITE 417G can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
ZIRLITE 417G should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. ZIRLITE 417G is shipped as a heavy slurry produced to approximately 74° - 78° Baume´. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the ZIRLITE 417G with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%). Caution: Solvent is highly flammable.
