DESCRIPTION: ZIRCOTE 855 is a zircon/graphite refractory coating designed for heavy sectioned iron castings. The coating is supplied in a slurry form. ZIRCOTE 855 can be applied by brushing, dipping, spraying or flow coating. The rheological properties of ZIRCOTE 855 contribute to improved workability and consistency, thus providing improved surface finish and casting quality. The coating is designed to be reduced with water at the customer’s facility.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

ZIRCOTE 855 should be mixed with a pneumatic or an electric mixer.  Material must be mixed thoroughly in its container before diluting.  ZIRCOTE 855 is designed to be diluted by the customer to its proper specification according to the application. ZIRCOTE 855 must be torch or oven dried prior to casting.
