Water Based Zircon Modified Coating

DESCRIPTION: ZIRCOTE 500 is a zircon modified refractory coating designed for light to heavy sectioned iron castings. The coating is supplied in a slurry form. ZIRCOTE 500 can be applied by brushing, dipping, spraying or flow coating. The rheological properties of ZIRCOTE 500 contribute to improved workability and consistency, thus providing improved surface finish and casting quality.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

ZIRCOTE 500 should be mixed with a pneumatic or an electric mixer. Material must be mixed thoroughlY in'its container before use. ZIRCOTE 500 is designed to be diluted by the customer to its proper specification according to the application. ZIRCOTE 500 must be torch or oven dried prior to casting.
