DESCRIPTION: ZIRLITE 417B is an alcohol base, zircon refractory coating. ZIRLITE 417B has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. ZIRLITE 417B can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
ZIRLITE 417B should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. ZIRLITE 417B is shipped as a heavy slurry produced to approximately 74° - 76° Baume´. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the ZIRLITE 417B with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%). Caution: Solvent is highly flammable.
