 PYROTECH 380 Color Change
Fused Silica Water Based Coating

DESCRIPTION: PYROTECH 380 is a fused silica water based refractory coating. PYROTECH 380 has been formulated to reduce metal penetration and sand burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. This coating is supplied at the requested Baume`. Color changes from red to orange yellow when dry but returns to red with any moisture pick up.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

PYROTECH 380 should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. PYROTECH 380 is shipped as a premix coating ready for use. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the PYROTECH 380 with water if needed.
