PYROLITE 385
Ceramics Alcohol Based Coating

DESCRIPTION: PYROLITE 385 is an alcohol based high refractory coating. PYROLITE 385 has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and sand burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and non-ferrous castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. PYROLITE 385 can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

PYROLITE 385 should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. PYROLITE 385 is shipped as a slurry. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the PYROLITE 385 with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%). Caution: Solvent is highly flammable.
