Alcohol Base Fused Alumina Graphite Refractory Coating

DESCRIPTION: PYROLITE 375 is an alcohol base fused alumina Graphite refractory coating. This coating has a high percentage of a stable alumina and Graphite content. PYROLITE 375 has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. PYROLITE 375 can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

PYROLITE 375 should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. PYROLITE 375 is shipped as a heavy slurry. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the PYROLITE 375 with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%). Caution: Solvent is highly flammable.
