Description: PYROLITE 365R is an alcohol based fused alumina/red iron oxide modified refractory coating. This coating has a high percentage of a stable alumina content for insulation purpose and a percentage of graphite for distribution of heat. PYROLITE 365R has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron castings. This coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. PYROLITE 365R can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

PYROLITE 365R should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. PYROLITE 365R is shipped as a heavy slurry. If necessary, the Baumé can be reduced by reducing the PYROLITE 365R with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%). Caution: Solvent is highly flammable.
