Description: PYROLITE 365GR is an alcohol based fused alumina/graphite/red iron oxide modified refractory coating. This coating has a high percentage of a stable alumina content for insulation purpose and a percentage of graphite for distribution of heat. PYROLITE 365GR has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron castings. This coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. PYROLITE 365GR can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

PYROLITE 365GR should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. PYROLITE 365GR is shipped as a heavy slurry. If necessary, the Baumé can be reduced by reducing the PYROLITE 365GR with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%). Caution: Solvent is highly flammable.
