Alcohol Base Fused Alumina/Graphite Modified Refractory Coating

DESCRIPTION: PYROLITE 365G is an alcohol based fused alumina/graphite modified refractory coating. This coating has a high percentage of a stable alumina content for insulation purpose and a percentage of graphite for distribution of heat. PYROLITE 365G has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron castings. This coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. PYROLITE 365G can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

PYROLITE 365G should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. PYROLITE 365G is shipped as a heavy slurry. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the PYROLITE 365G with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%). Caution: Solvent is highly flammable
