Description: PERM CAST 350 is a blend of refractories designed for coating metal patterns and metal accessories for the Permanent Mold Process. The coating which is in a slurry form can be applied by brushing or spraying. PERM CAST 350 will provide excellent release from the pattern and will extend the life of metal patterns and accessories. The coating is designed to be reduced with water at the customer’s facility.

Spraying is the best method of application. We recommend three layers of coating for ultimate protection. Make sure to apply each layer to dry coating surfaces. It is recommended to add an additional layer of coating daily for production.

COATING PREPARATION:

PERM CAST 350 should be mixed with a pneumatic or an electric mixer for a minimum of 20 minutes without forming a vortex. Material must be mixed thoroughly in its container before diluting with water.

Caution: This coating should be protected from freezing. Coating should be kept in the original container with closed lids to prevent drying out.
