DESCRIPTION: MAGNESIUM PATCHING COMPOUND is a magnesium based compound. MAGNESIUM PATCHING COMPOUND is used primarily for repairing surface defects on ladles, furnaces, troughs, etc. MAGNESIUM PATCHING COMPOUND improves the life of refractory by significantly reducing the adhesion of molten iron, steel, and copper alloys to the surface.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: MAGNESIUM PATCHING COMPOUND needs to be mixed with water to make a uniform paste. Use only the required amount of material to complete your project. MAGNESIUM PATCHING COMPOUND can be easily applied by hand and smoothed without the need of special tools or techniques.

DRYING REQUIREMENTS: Air dry for 2 to 3 hours. Then apply high heat for another 4 to 6 hours.

MAGNESIUM PATCHING COMPOUND should be kept in its original container in dry area to prevent moisture.
