Alcohol Base Magnesium Oxide Refractory Coating

DESCRIPTION:  MAG LITE 100 is an alcohol base magnesium oxide refractory coating.  MAG LITE 100 has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. MAG LITE 100 can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

MAG LITE 100 should be mixed thoroughly before use.  We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer.  MAG LITE 100 is shipped as a heavy slurry. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the MAG LITE 100 with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%).  Caution:  Solvent is highly flammable.
