Description: Foam Kote 6600 is a high insulating refractory coating with extremely high absorption properties designed for lost foam aluminum castings. The coating is supplied in a slurry form. Foam Kote 6600 is made from a blend of special refractories, which reduces sand penetration, reduces porosity, and reduces fold defects. This coating is designed to be reduced with water or dispersant to the desired viscosity at the customer’s facility. Foam Kote 6600 has excellent suspension properties, requires less maintenance, and has excellent bacteria control.
