Alcohol Base Chromite Refractory Coating

DESCRIPTION: CHROMLITE 100 is an alcohol base chromite refractory coating. CHROMLITE 100 has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. The coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. CHROMLITE 100 can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

CHROMLITE 100 should be mixed thoroughly before use. We recommend the use of an explosion-proof, motor-driven mixer. CHROMLITE 100 is shipped as a heavy slurry. If necessary, the Baume´ can be reduced by reducing the CHROMLITE 100 with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA 99%). Caution: Solvent is highly flammable.
