Solvent Based Release Agent

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CB-6S is a unique blend of silicones in a medium aliphatic naphtha solvent. This flammable blend contains no chlorinated solvents, no HAP listed solvents, and has not been shown to contribute to ozone depletion. This product offers excellent release on both cold box and no-bake machines.

Flash Point 105° F

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION

Since CB-6S is flammable, it must be used with extreme caution and only where the use of flammables is allowed.

CB-6S can be applied either by spraying, brushing or wiping. Whatever technique is used, it is recommended that a uniform coat be applied to insure consistent release. The frequency of application will depend upon core complexity and application technique. Application frequency should provide good release properties while minimizing build-up. Please refer to the SDS for proper safety instruction.
