PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CB-5S is a unique 100% solid blend of high-grade silicones designed for use on all cold box processes. It has not been shown to contribute to ozone depletion. CB-5S has been specially formulated to reduce box maintenance by providing a slick non-stick surface throughout the box. This product offers excellent release on aluminum, urethane, and metal core boxes.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION

CB-5S is used as received.

CB-5S can be applied either by spraying, brushing or wiping. Whatever technique is used, it is recommended that a uniform coat be applied to insure consistent release. The frequency of application will depend upon core complexity and application technique. Application frequency should provide good release properties while minimizing build-up. Please refer to the SDS for proper safety instruction.
