SAND COATINGS - PYROTECH 275RY
Water Based High Refractory Modified Coating

DESCRIPTION:  Pyrotech 275 RY is a water base, mullite/fused alumina refractory coating with a 70/30 ratio of refractories.  Pyrotech 275 RY has been formulated to substantially reduce metal penetration and burnon defects that can be encountered with medium and heavy sectioned iron and steel castings. This coating is supplied in a heavy slurry form. Pyrotech 275 RY can be applied by flow coating, brushing, swabbing or spraying. This coating will change colors from red to a strong yellow.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Protech 275 RY should be mixed with a pneumatic or and electric mixer.  Material must be mixed thoroughly in its container before diluting with water. Pyrotech 275 RY is designed to be diluted by the customer to its proper specification according to the application.  Pyrotech 275 RY must be torch or oven dried prior to casting.
